Shortly after Joan's passing, I was contacted by the President of the Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Association asking if they could do a tribute in memory of Joan in their magazine, "Bright Eyes and Bushy Tales".
"Of course!" I said. "That would be really nice." They asked for permission to use some photos from this site and I was so touched when I received the final proof for approval.
Today we received our complimentary copy of the magazine (neither Terry, Joan nor I were current members of this club) and the tribute looks great. I had not told Terry much about it, so I watched him with tears in his eyes as he read the tribute to his mother.
Thank you, CC&SSA, for remembering this great lady for her contributions. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
